Last night I got Shane's call from Peter's Mom. It sounded like she was in the car. Apparently she wants, "to know how [he is] doing," and he, "should call [her] back because [she] just wants to know how [he] is doing, okay?"

I don't ever remember my friends' moms randomly calling to see how I was doing. They may have called to see where their hoodlum offspring were, or what kind of trouble they were getting in to. Should I be offended that Eileen and Sherry never called to ask about my day?

Does Peter know his mom is calling Shane? She didn't leave a number, and I know the cell phone does that for you, but it made me wonder if Shane has had to return Peter's mom's calls before.
